Large crowd of people at the opening of Coronation Lake, Coronation Park, Helston on 20th July 1912. The opening ceremony was conducted by Mayor Francis Henry Cunnack. At the front of the group are a number of men in one piece bathing suits. A "greasy pole" can be seen to the left. Coronation Park was built to commemorate the reign of King George V.
